Trim the shrubs...Give them a good trim so they aren't overgrown. This is also a safety issue as overgrown bushes give burglars a place to hide.
Paint the shutters...Vinyle shutters will fade and painted will peel. You can add spray paint made for vinyl and a few cans of paint for wood makes a world of difference.

Paint or replace the mailbox...If it's broken, falling over or ugly, it can make everything else look shabby. Paint the post, replace the box and add some flowers in a planter.

Kill the weeds...Get rid of the weeds in your planters and in your ground planting. Also remove them from the driveway!!

Wash the house...Rent a power washer and do it yourself, or you can pay someone to do it for you. It will make the house look new!!

Pick up the trash..Make sure your trash is collected or hauled to a dump each week. Pick up newspapers and flyers and clean what's not even your fault.

Finished the Unfinished....like an attic, basement, upstairs storage area, or other spaces you can convert into usable space. More expensive then other ideas, but do the labor yourself.

Add on...Adding on is pricey, but can be cheaper then moving. Doing so can give you one or more extra rooms or simple expand a living room or master.

New artwork..change the arrangment, or look for some new paintings or posters and frame them to match your decor.

Plants..A well placed large plant can hide an ugly fireplace or unused radiator. Smaller plants can add color to a room & help improve the air in your home.
